In 2008, a reconstruction of a pottery kiln that had been in use since the 12th century. Aulhausen was first referred to as "Ulenhusen" in 1210, derived from "Ullner" (potter). In the heyday from the 13th to the 16th century, household goods, tiles and art objects were produced.
