In spring, visit the sea eagle observation station in Rathjensdorf, north of Plön. Here you can watch the sea eagles in their nest through the binoculars provided. Volunteers are usually on site and are happy to answer any questions. The majestic sea eagle is considered the largest bird of prey in Central Europe and is a special resident of the Holstein Switzerland Nature Park.
