Canada Place is a striking building in the center of Vancouver, on the shores of Burrard Inlet. It houses the Vancouver Convention & Exhibition Center, the Pan Pacific Hotel and the world's first IMAX cinema. In addition, it is the mooring point of most cruise ships from Vancouver.
Built by the architect Eberhard Zeidler as the Canadian Pavilion of Expo 86, Canada Place was the only part of the World's Fair that was not on the exhibition grounds on the north bank of False Creek.

Legacy: Canada Place is now an iconic landmark and a major transportation and tourism hub, playing a significant role in Vancouver's waterfront. In 2024, it was also co-named Komagata Maru Place to honour a significant historical event.
