The view is sensational! My tip: alternative driveways are from Weiler over Thal, or from Oberstaufen on the highlight "Sulzberg driveway"! Both driveways are without motorcyclists etc ... :-)

Ersteinma it is a wonderful driveway, the reward from this view would not be necessary, but here you meet all those motorcycle riders who have cut one up the mountain. Time for qualified traffic education :)
