The reconstruction of the Celtic city gate at the lock in Kelheim-Gronsdorf is based on the results of archaeological excavations on the outer city wall between 1964 and 1972. Since all organic components of the Celtic wall have disappeared over time, we can only speculate about the appearance of some details, such as the height of the wooden crossing. Since the appearance of the doors cannot be reconstructed, a replica was not made and only the architecture of the gate building was visualized.
