The venerable monastery is very impressive and it has something to drink, if you have a beer from the oldest (!) Monastic brewery in the world. It is difficult to impossible to find accommodation in the Gästehaus St. Georg. For this we recommend the Klostergasthof located in the village.

The monastery church is worth seeing. The beer garden is OK for people who like bustle (big, loud and very busy).

The monastery has many superlatives - founded around 600, since 1050 brewing rights, the oldest monastery in Bavaria. You can even stay overnight at the Gästehaus St. Georg if you ask in good time.

A short visit to the monastery church is absolutely recommended. Afterwards you can enjoy a very good beer.

Always worth a tour to the monastery. Shady beer garden with delicious food 😋
At the monastery there is the chance to take a refreshment in the Danube.

Nice to admire from a distance. No more no less. Very touristy. Beer expensive food moderate.

Nice, unfortunately overcrowded beer garden. Food is good, beer anyway - and has something to enjoy a cool one from the oldest monastery brewery. 😎

A great sight how idyllic this monastery is. However, it is a tourist magnet and accordingly frequented. If possible, a midweek morning visit is ideal.
