Bärenklau Castle was built by the Guben industrialist Lehmann in the 20s of the last century. With the land reform in the GDR, the owner was expropriated by the state. During the GDR era, the Georgi Dimitroff convalescent home for tumor diseases was integrated into the property. Today it belongs to the Löhr family.
