Hiking

Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park is one of the city's most famous attractions. Before the bomb, the area of today's Peace Park was the political and economic heart of the city. That's why it was chosen as the destination. Four years after the bomb was dropped, it was decided not to rebuild the area but to dedicate it to commemoration.

In addition to the Peace Memorial Museum, there are many memorial sites and statues that remind of what happened and call for peace.
