The Murg has created an impact slope in the area of the favorite rock and thus modeled the rock. The rock consists of the rock "red lying" which was deposited about 300 to 250 million years ago. Idyllically located on the Murg, the favorite rock is a geotope and part of a nature reserve in which a special world of herbs and plants has developed.
