A nice opportunity for a break. There are a couple of sun-protected seating areas that offer the best picnic potential and a small water hole where you can briefly cool down your hot trampled legs.

In March 2025, the area resembled more of a construction site. The old paving stones around the wading pool were removed. New square areas of paving stones were laid. It looks like a "renovation." Otherwise, it's a nice picnic spot located right next to a hiking parking lot.

September 2023: There is no water in the water treading area, overall the pool looked rather unkempt. A pity.
