Started with light rain on muddy trails through the forest. After 13km at Selbeck leave the forest and suddenly a completely different world.
Sun, asphalt, natural and gravel paths with great views. Ideal time to switch to the lighter and airier running shoes, which turned out to be a good decision.
Later the sun burned well, puha ... - I wished the forest back from the morning.
Overall nice route with a lot of variety, so it was never boring. Walked through villages like Sommersell, Bega or Alverdissen. Ride through many times, but if you hike it, it always eats something different.
I also liked the height profile. Always up or down somehow without getting too steep or too long.
Was very good for hiking.

At the beginning a lot of mud and disastrous hiking trails in the forest. Then continue along the Emmer on the Emmerweg towards the Schieder reservoir with a lot of asphalt. Moderate hiking trail, but definitely good if you are cycling. I almost expected it, so no problem.
At Steinheim a few trees fell onto a bridge and I had to turn around and take a detour.
I wouldn't recommend it for hiking, but it did the job - I mainly wanted to eat a few miles.

Right after the start there was an increase in it. Then I was officially warm. In return, the backpack became much lighter in return.
Bischen through the forest on much tilled paths from the harvesters, but you already know that.
Down a couple of villages on the Weser. Actually then again up the mountain ridge, but the wind has refreshed well and dark storm clouds came up.
Because of life-extending measures, I did not hike on the mountain through dead spruce forests, but rather walked further down the Weser. Ultimately, it was just a false alarm.

This premium route really does what it promises. Everything is right there. I can only recommend it. Just a shame that the cherry blossom was already through.
Nearby the beautiful place Witzenhausen. Only drove through due to lack of time, but certainly worth a visit.
We will definitely go there again when we have to do in Kassel again.
Greetings to Wood Walker, thanks for the tip👍
