On the banks of the Enns, not far from Admont, rises a wooded knoll on which the pilgrimage church Frauenberg can be seen from afar. The three ornate onion domes are striking, but the interior, rich in decorations, is particularly impressive. The history of the origins of the church is also interesting: in 1404 a wood-carved statue of the Virgin Mary was found at the foot of the mountain in the Enns. The abbot of Admont then had a chapel built, which was later replaced by the imposing church.
