The Hofalm is 1,335 meters above sea level and covers a total area of 30 hectares. From mid-June to mid-September, the Alm is managed as a leasehold with young cattle. The hut itself is operated by the Austrian Alpine Association as a refuge and snack station. It is open from mid-May to the end of October.

Very friendly staff. Enjoy your meal. Magnificent view of Spital am Phyrn, Sengsengebirge and Warscheneck. Trail 614 to Spital am Phyrn is steep, but very well laid out and easy to walk on.
