The ruins are freely accessible at all times. A staircase leads to the preserved part of the shield wall, from where there is a beautiful view of the surrounding forest and the Neckar valley. If it's a bit shady down in the castle, with a bit of luck you'll have a sunny spot for a little rest up here.
In the outer bailey there is also a flowing wooden fountain and a large barbecue area with unfortunately a bit sparse seating. But on the walls and stairs all around everyone will surely find a place. Especially since the ruins don't seem particularly crowded.

It is possible to go directly to a tower via (steel) stairs - the view here is wonderful.

Beautiful castle ruins. In the lower area there is a fountain. If you take the trouble and climb the stairs, you will enjoy a wonderful view.
