Funny that Komoot classifies the trail as T4, the trail is max. T2 in terms of difficulty. Even the climb up to the Ebenalp mountain inn is T4, someone must have been joking...

This middle high-altitude trail from Aescher or Ebenalp towards Altenalp is simply wonderful. One of my favorite trails in the Alpstein. At the beginning of a hike you can enjoy the view to the heart of the Alpstein, to the Ageteplatte, behind it you can see the Altmann on the left and the Säntis on the right and on the far right the Altenalptürme, which then come closer and closer :-). Just beautiful.
