Cheers to the Alpstein! I've known this beautiful, impressive, and adventurous region for over 50 years. There isn't a trail we haven't walked. They've always been beautiful, if sometimes challenging, tours. The trails are always very well maintained. THANK YOU!But every mountain hiker must be aware of one thing: this isn't a forest and meadow hiking area. With proper and responsible preparation, equipment, and self-assessment, the Alpstein isn't dangerous, but rather an adventurous mountain hiking area.Respect where respect is due.If you're driving the wrong way on the highway, it's not the highway's fault!
