The historic Hala Targowa in Gdańsk has undergone a complete metamorphosis and, after more than a year and a half of renovation, has reopened in a new guise as a modern gastronomic-cultural concept called Hala Targowa Enjoy. The space of the former retail stalls has been taken over by restaurants, street food stands, bars, and a delicatessen area. The historic building has also gained modern ecological solutions (including heat pumps with boreholes under the square) and unique, glazed archaeological exhibits.
