Very scenic and quiet climb all the way to the top of Axe edge starting from Glutton Bridge,
Not a great surface and some deep cattle grids to be careful of at speed

Absolutely stunning climb from Glutton Bridge up to the top of Axe Edge. Amazing climbing up through the gorge with the very spikey hills either side (you'll see what I mean when you go!). I'd recommend going up rather than going down as there are quite a few sections where there's quite a lot of gravel across the road but the whole climb is paved.
