Ridden as an alternative to the Rapha Kickback Coffee ride that i thought would be hike a bike. This is tough ride 95% rideable but much more comfortable with some spring up front. Be prepprepared fot walkers and gnarly rocks - not beginner friendly

The slog up to Flash Stores for a coffee and hot breakfast taking in a different gravel cut through a little bit of snow ofer the top too.

Great little route that. I can also recommend the gravel shortcut in the middle of Ridge Hill turning left into the farm and through steel gate as you climb from Macclesfield Forest. It's a kind of continuation of Withenshaw Lane crossing the Ridge Hill

Short loop only touching in short bits if quiet road.. couple if fields and with stiles blocked off making it hard to get dogs over and a apparently youre being filmed. But suspect it's just because the owner is bitter they have a footpath running through their land 🤷♂️
