A very nice viaduct near Friedrichstal.
The 173 meter long and 32.5 meter high Haintalviadukt spans the same side valley of the Itter and is in its construction a miniature copy of the Himbächel viaduct on the same route. It consists of a total of nine arches with 15 meters of open space, which are grouped into three groups of three arches each. The pillars, which are 3 meters strong at the fighter, are strengthened to 5 meters between the three groups of arches. In total, about 8500 m³ of quarrystone were used here.

There are other interesting viaducts in both directions along the fire route.

The Haintal Viaduct is the second longest bridge structure of the Odenwaldbahn after the Himbächel Viaduct. also good in the light on lunchtimes.
