The southern branch is the Mickey Creek Gorge Walk, which leads into a picturesque gorge where colourful sandstone walls are heavily adorned with wild orchids, lush ferns, and bright green moss. Similar to its neighbour, Warrumbah Gorge Walk the official park-maintained track ends near the mouth of the gorge and scrambling rock-hopping begins.

just keep going for a far as you can, climb the branches, the water isn't that deep.

Personally ,I would do the other main tracks first and leave this one till last, just in case you cruckle and/ or turn an ankle from all the rock hopping/scrambling.Go beyond the signs that tell you the formed track ends, 'cos that's the best bits. It might only be 1.5km, but if you get to the end it's 2km, one way. Wear shoes with a good tread and not slicks 😆. Have fun, take photos and leave only footprints.
