Worth seeing is the wall-high family tree of Count Albrecht VII of Schwarzburg and the “Schönfeld Epitaph”.
In the choir, a gravestone commemorates Countess Katharina von Schwarzburg, who confronted Duke Alba in the Schmalkaldic War (1547) with her famous saying “Princely blood for ox blood” and went down in history as “Catherine the Heroic”.
