Lønstrup has a beautiful sandy beach with good bathing conditions, as there are calm lagoons with low water levels between the wave breakers. You are not allowed to drive on the beach in Lønstrup, but there are good parking conditions just a few meters from the beach. At the foot of the cliff, small dunes have formed, where you can relax after a fresh sea bath. To the north of the boat place (harbor) there is a large stretch of beach, where a few white bathhouses and often a few fishing boats form a beautiful backdrop. To the south of the boat area there is a good bathing beach approx. 500 meters long along the breakwater. Lønstrup has the white bathing water flag, which indicates good bathing conditions.

The beach at Lönstrup offers an idyllic experience. Here you can go swimming, guarded by an old rescue house, and bask in the Danish sun. The protective wall made of rocks ensures that families can also enjoy a swim here, and the Blue Flag guarantees all holidaymakers optimal water quality. Other spots are full of steep cliffs that house cottages with great sea views.
The beach directly at Lönstrup is relatively narrow, but you are well protected from the wind at the foot of the dunes. There are toilets and other facilities such as emergency telephones on the beaches. The waste is always carefully collected, which is why the “blue flag” is waving on the beach in Lönstrup. And this even outside the main season. Driving on the beach is generally not permitted, except at Nørlev Strand. The grand finale is the old landing place, where the fishing boats are still pulled back ashore today.
