Hiking
The whole place is absolutely unreal. You can see the remains of the weathered houses around the light tower, the dune looks like a cold desert.
The view is great, the way there better or worse depending on the path. My favorite is when you walk from the parking lot to the dunes at right angles and then fight and climb on the dunes to the lighthouse, preferably close to the steep cliff, which at this point m.W. is highest.

Hiking
Up at the observation tower, you can lay out patterns and build castles with the cleanly sandblasted clay bricks from the old lighthouse. And, of course, enjoy the view after your desert hike.
