The Wartburg towers as a landmark high above the city of Eisenach - 1000 years of German history are reflected in it again. Especially well known is the fact that the castle granted exile to the outlaw Martin Luther, who translated the New Testament here. From here, the view of the castle is rather distant but no less beautiful. But a few kilometers it is still to Eisenach.
