In 2012, the Kalchreuther Fisch-Lehrpfad was planned by the fishing association and built in cooperation with the Fischereiverband Bezirk Mittelfranken, the Wasserwirtschaftsamt Ansbach and the municipality.
The nature trail informs with its seven display boards along the Grubweiher - known as Sklavensee - not only about the fish swimming in the Sklavensee (carp, pike, eels, tench, bream, perch and walleye), but also about the diversity of the local fish world and their specially adapted habitats and their diet.
