Road cycling
Asphalting of the bike path ends at the end of the descent. When you switch back to the road, the whole swing is gone.
In the opposite direction, the bike path is okay for the climb. It is best to change just before the forest ends. You can do that to some extent smoothly. Warning - there is often gravel and sand over the asphalt.
