the first church in Holzhausen was inaugurated in March 818. In 1314 Holzhausen was mentioned for the first time as a branch of Münsing. 1470 was the construction of the present church, but without vestibule and sacristy. The church is, as can be seen from the year 1470, built in the Gothic style. 1611 is next to the year of construction the most important year for the shape of today's church.
