Tips
One of my favorite hiking trails in the Harz! Hopping from stone to stone, you cross the red Ecker stream. This can be a slippery affair when it's wet or icy. Proper footwear is recommended. When the weather is good, you can take a break here and listen to the Ecker rippling.
