The Planie is a chestnut and linden avenue built in the 19th century as a continuation of the goose pond that was filled in in 1836. Impressive city villas line both sides. On Kaiserstrasse there is a monument from 1892 with the marble bust of Kaiser Wilhelm I and the portrait medallion of Kaiser Friedrich III, Bismarck and Moltke. The city garden, which immediately adjoins the plan, was laid out in 1902. The park with a small pond, pavilions and a playground invites you to linger and relax.
