The Eulenspiegel Fountain is located directly in front of the gallery and was created by the local artist Hans Eickworth (1930–1995). The fountain was unveiled on the same day as the gallery's inauguration.
According to the artist, he wanted to make visible the pranks and mischief of everyday life, from which no one is always safe.
