Hiking

The pit "Gotthold" is a former lignite and gravel pit in the southern Brandenburg district of Elbe-Elster. The pit is located about 2 km west of the village Hohenleipisch and is today by the locals u.A. used as a bathing lake. Today it is part of the nature reserve "Forsthaus Prösa" established in 1990 in the NP Niederlausitzer Heidelandschaft.
