if you want to take the public transport from Berlin to Dresden, you have to change trains here. The platforms are narrow, relatively many freight trains pass the station at full speed without warning from a loudspeaker before a train is about to pass. It is good that both platforms can be reached barrier-free with a lift. And the station building is still intact and in use.
