The last 3 km are absolutely impossible to do by bike. The tour is a challenge on this route on foot. Without the help of hikers, we would have had to leave our bikes behind, because, among other things, a 2.5 meter high rock had to be overcome. Otherwise, cycling was not possible on these 3 km and we had to push the wheels the entire route.

Perfect proportions of building. Beautiful place. No other building in sight. Lavender fields. Colours depnd on the period of course.

Hiking

This is a beautiful old Cistercian abbey that is also famous for its lavender cultivation. Most tourists come just for the lavender and hardly notice the abbey at all. It is well worth taking a tour of the old monastery rooms and attending a service in the abbey church. The singing of the monks in the wonderful acoustics is very touching!
