The enclosure was set up by the forester a few years ago. At that time, two half-tame wild boars mischief in the forest, "Schnitzel" and "Blümchen". They got a new home here and there have been regular offspring ever since.

A trip to the wild boar is worthwhile in every season. Feeding is also allowed, however, signs indicate that meat and sausage products should be avoided due to the swine fever risk.
