Cycling
After more than 10 years of planning, a new cycle route connecting the Parkway Emscher and the Springorum Trail has finally been completed. A new bridge over the A448 motorway is still needed and will be built in the coming years. The new route is well-paved, very wide, and currently 5.4 km long. Until the new bridge is finished, cyclists will only need to take a small detour along Markstraße and through a park.
