    The pavilion was built in 1957 as part of the Interbau by Hermann Fehling, Daniel Gogel and Peter Pfankuch and served as the entrance hall of the architecture exhibition. Until 2002, the city of Berlin presented many of its major construction projects to the public. Until 2003 it was sold to Burger King.
