Great architecture. The entire area in the government district can be easily explored on foot or by bike.

The name was given in 1882 in connection with the construction of the Reichstag building. The White Crosses memorial on the banks of the Spree at Friedrich-Ebert-Platz next to the Reichstag building in Berlin commemorates those who died at the Berlin Wall. The memorial was first on the east side of the Reichstag on a fence in front of the Wall and then on the south side of the Reichstag on a fence in the zoo.
