In 2019 and 2020, six animal sculptures preserved in the zoo and formerly installed at Floraplatz were extensively restored. These are two bison, two deer and two elk. Two other sculptures belonging to the ensemble - a bull and a bear - are considered missing. They were recast in bronze. The original granite bases were restored and a missing one was remade using the same material.
