Vejle Fjord is a 22‑km, East Jutland‑type fjord that runs from the town of Vejle east to the Kattegat between Trelde Næs (south) and Juelsminde (north). It’s a glacial tunnel valley with steep, forested slopes (some 50–80 m high), calm waters, and a dredged channel in the inner 5 km; depths are mostly 10–15 m, reaching about 14 m near the mouth.
