With a daily traffic of 25,000 passengers and visitors, Kiel Main Station is the second largest station in Schleswig-Holstein after Lübeck's main station. The area around the main station is the busiest square in Kiel. Every day more than 100,000 people are on the bus, in the main train station and on the station forecourt.
