The twelve meter high, tapering wooden construction is a half-timbered construction made of heavy spruce beams. The conical shape of the construction increases its perspective effect and makes it appear higher than it really is. At the same time, this artificial perspective lifts the sculpture out of its natural environment and gives it a virtual, surreal character.

The figure painted in the window always makes me feel like I'm being watched or even monitored. I always have to think of the watchtowers on the former "Iron Curtain" between the two parts of Germany.
