Beautiful trail past the Teufelsmoor. In Lübeck, north of the Wakenitz, there are inland dunes that were blown up after the end of the Vistula glaciation. Dry grassland has developed here, as well as around the Teufelsmoor to the north.
Since the areas are no longer grazed, they are in danger of becoming overgrown with bushes and have to be cleared and mown for maintenance. The dry grasslands are the habitat of a species-rich flora and fauna that is adapted to the site conditions. For example, people settle here B.
