The market fountain, featuring the bronze statue of "Saint Margaret," was erected in 2002. It was modeled on a fountain from 1463 that served to supply the town with fresh water. Originally, both the pipes and the fountain itself were made of wood. In 1844, the pipes were replaced with stone and iron ones.

Continuing an old tradition, the Market Fountain Festival is celebrated on October 2nd and 3rd.
