Mountain biking

At this point originally stood a castle that was converted in 1453 into a Carthusian monastery. The monastery fell into disrepair and in 1873, after the secularization, a hunting lodge was built. It serves since the family Schönborn as a hunting lodge and residence. The Bavarian State Office for the Preservation of Monuments leads the castle under the monument number D-6-75-158-66. The underground remains of the predecessor buildings are listed as Bodendenkmal.
