Tips
At this point originally stood a castle that was converted in 1453 into a Carthusian monastery. The monastery fell into disrepair and in 1873, after the secularization, a hunting lodge was built. It serves since then the family Schönborn as hunting lodge and residence.

A special feature is the round stair tower in one corner of the building with a tower crowned with a pointed helmet. The site is surrounded by a wall that incorporates parts of the old monastery wall.
