The stony river bed of the Röslau (a tributary of the Eger) and the many exposed rocks have probably contributed to the naming of the Röslau Gorge "Gsteinigt" above Arzberg. There is also the mouth of a historic tunnel from the neighboring Arzberg mining area. In August 2009, the "Gsteinigt" was included in the one hundred most beautiful geotopes in Bavaria.

Just around the corner in idyllic nature is the inn "Im Gsteinigt" with many delicacies.

Cycling

Beautiful hiking trail along the Röslau through beautiful nature. A great river bed with stones. Hence the name. Starting point is in Elisenfels directly at the inn in the Gsteinigt. The path itself is about 2 km long and sometimes quite narrow and bumpy with stones and roots. Somewhat difficult for prams. If you continue you come to Arzberg.
