Location: Westhofen, Alzey-Worms, Rhenish Hesse, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany
The Juliusturm above Westhofen was built by its namesake Julius Grünewald, the local historian and former chairman of the Westhofen local history association. Its location offers a wonderful view of the Wonnegau community, extending to the Rhine plain and the heights of the Palatinate.

The Juliusturm is open and a "chicken ladder" staircase leads to the top. Although the tower is not very high you get a nice panoramic view

The tower was inaugurated in 1971 and renovated in 1999. From the top you have a great view over Westhofen and the vineyards
