Hiking
The path on the banks of the Leie is called "Warmoezenierpad"... but it actually runs from (or to, depending on the direction of your walk) Pijkenaas, a street named after an inn that once stood there ("Pijken" = dialect for "spades" in the card game). That section leads through the meadows and is thus the starting point for the Leiepad.
