leading to the Land Gate (Landporten). This gate is part of the old fortifications
of Nyborg. The trees in the Linden Avenue were planted in 1806
and the avenue is one of the scenic routes for exploring the historic town.
The Land Gate itself has a long history, dating back to the 16th century.
